Sheila Ronis is a strategist, educator, and expert in national security, leadership, systems and complexity science and foresight planning. She is President of University Group Partners, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, visioning, and organizational transformation for government, business, and nonprofit organizations. She has worked extensively on integrating systems thinking into public policy, advising on national security strategy, economic competitiveness, and leadership development.
Ronis has held academic, executive and advisory roles focused on long-term strategic planning and anticipatory governance. She has served as Chair of the Vision Working Group of the Project on National Security Reform and has testified before Congress on China and economic security as national security. As Distinguished Professor of Management and Director of the Center for Complex and Strategic Decisions at Walsh College, she assisted senior leaders in decision-making under uncertainty and the intersection of economic and national security policy. Through her work, she continues to advise on complex systems-based approaches to leadership, strategy, and governance.
