FACULTY and CO-FACULTY POSITIONS

NECSI is seeking outstanding candidates interested in advancing complex systems science to join our team.

We have openings in the following positions:

  • Senior Research Scientist

  • Junior Research Scientist

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree.

  • Academic or professional record demonstrating outstanding intellectual contribution in top-tier journals and conferences.

  • Outstanding communication of research results in various formats including presentations, technical reports and publications.

  • Expertise in manipulating large datasets using open-source and using general-purpose programming language to build predictive models.

  • Experience leading teams, mentoring postdocs and students, and teaching complex material to non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Research investigations are aligned with NECSI’s mission.

    Appointments are between three to five years. If necessary, NECSI will provide support for annual travel to participate in special programs and collaborations.
