Derrick VanGennep is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University and a NECSI affiliate. His physics research focuses on the metalization of hydrogen by applying extreme pressures, which has potential applications for room-temperature superconductivity and revolutionizing rocket fuel. He is currently working with NECSI on endCoronavirus.org, where he collects, analyzes, and presents data related to COVID-19.
