On the night following the death of Steve Jobs, we tracked 2 million tweets posted between 9pm and 9am (Eastern time) which contained the phrase "Steve Jobs." Each small dot represents 1000 tweets. The dots are colored according to the language of the tweets, as given by Twitter. In some cases this language coding may be incorrect. The total percentages do not sum to 100% due to rounding.
