The New England Complex Systems Institute (NECSI) is an independent educational and research institution dedicated to advancing the study of complex systems. NECSI was established as a joint effort of faculty of New England academic institutions for the advancement of communication and collaboration outside of institutional and departmental boundaries.
NECSI welcomes applications for postdoctoral positions for research projects on unified approaches relevant to describing and analyzing complex systems. In addition to general projects, specific projects with anticipated openings include research in: protein folding and aggregation, developmental biology, distributed computing, meteorology, non-equilibrium dynamics, agent based modeling, engineering design, cognitive modeling, corporate anthropology and management/organization science.
NECSI Postdoctoral fellows will receive joint appointments at MIT, Harvard or other local academic institutions.
