Fatty streak is the beginning of atherosclerosis. It elongates parallel to flow direction.
Local blood flow affects on the local vessel surface through both direct and indirect interaction of atherogenic and atheroprotective factors. Our model built by NetLogo shows how local flow speed (shear rate) interacts with local vessel surface and then fatty streak must be reversible to form linear lipid deposition parallel to flow direction.
