The apoptosis proteins expression in tumor and blood cells in patients

Abstract
The growth the number of people with diseases of thyroid glands, particularly of cancer is detected in last years. So, a quantity of cancer consists 5-10 % from all the thyroid glands diseases. In the most observations there are high-differentiated cancers with relatively benign course. Never the less a number of the authors correspond about the recurrents of such diseases after the years of observation. That is why the searching of the prognostic criteria for future is very important problem.
It is known that malignant growth is dependent on interaction of malignant cells with immune system of organism, in particular, on tumor cells capacity to have resistance to the apoptosis induction by lymphocytes and also on ability of tumor cells for induction of apoptosis in lymphocytes. The aim of the carried out study was the searching of prognostic criteria for the thyroid gland cancer. There was examined expression of the apoptosis proteins in tumor and blood cells in four patients with follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma.
Expression of proteins – FasL, TRADD, caspases 2 (casp2), casp3 and casp7 were examined by the method of indirect immunofluorescence. The fluorescence emissions of cells stained with FITC were recorded under fluorescent microscope Axioskop with 10x20, 10x40 and 10x100 objectives with a standard set of filters № 10 for analysis of luminescence in green channel.
The results of studying did not reveal of Fas-mediated apoptosis neither in tumor nor in blood cells. The elevated level of casp7 and TRADD was revealed only in one patient with follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma. The obtained results allow to use that method of the characters of malignant cells study together with observation of patient after operation is informative for estimation of prognosis of progression malignant diseases.
