Transportation

Airport Information:

Boston's Logan International Airport is the primary airport for the area (approximately 45 min drive from the MIT Endicott House depending on traffic). However, additional time should be allowed for Friday afternoon traffic upon arrival.

Providence's T.F. Green Airport, is about the same travel time to MIT Endicott house (45 minutes) and the time is less suceptible to traffic delays. Note: There are inexpensive flights available to Providence airport which are likely to compensate for the larger limo service fees (see below).

will provide ground transportation between either Boston Logan or Providence Green airports and the MIT Endicott house.

From Boston Logan:

The individual rate is $23.50* (one way)

There is an additional discount for more than one person traveling together, and up to 10 individuals on a single booking can ride together for $73.50.

From Providence T.F. Green:

There is a single rate of $90 for up to 10 individuals.

Local Directions, Map

From Logan International Airport (Boston, MA): Upon leaving Logan Airport, proceed west on Route 1A through the Sumner Tunnel ($2.00 toll). Get into the right lane. Upon exiting the tunnel, follow signs to Interstate-93 South and take it. Follow I-93 South about a mile to I-90 west, the Mass. Turnpike. (Stay in the right lane of I-93 because the Mass Pike exit comes up right after you exit a tunnel). Follow the Mass Turnpike directions going west to Endicott House as given below.

From Green Airport (Providence, RI): Upon leaving Green Airport, proceed north on Interstate 95 through Providence. Continue north on 95 until you come to the 95N(Route 128)/93North split. Get into the left lane and follow 95 N (Route 128 North). Take exit # 17 (Route 135). Turn left at end of exit ramp; this is Common St. Follow for one mile to Haven St.; turn right. Endicott House driveway is the second one on your right.

Going South on Route 128: Take exit # 17 (Route 135). Turn right at end of exit ramp; this is Common St. Follow for one mile to Haven St.; turn right. Endicott House driveway is the second one on your right.

Going North on Route 128: Take exit # 17 (Route 135). Turn left at end of exit ramp; this is Common St. Follow for one mile to Haven St.; turn right. Endicott House driveway is the second one on your right.

Going West on the Massachusetts Turnpike: Take exit #15 (Route 128) and follow sign for Route 128 south after leaving the toll booth. Proceed south on Route 128 according to the above directions.

Going East on the Massachusetts Turnpike: Take exit #14 (Route 128) and follow sign for Route 128 south after leaving the toll booth. Proceed south on Route 128 according to the above directions.

From Route 1: Follow to Route 109, Dedham. (Approximately 10 miles from Boston). Turn right. Stay to right of fork which becomes Haven Street. Endicott House driveway is 200 yards on your left.
